We’re Garden Office Buildings, a family company based in Biggin Hill, Kent. We’ve been building bespoke garden rooms since 2004, and we’re proud to serve homeowners across Brighton and Hove.

Garden Gym, Brighton

This 4m x 3.5m garden gym was built for a couple in Preston Park who needed a compact but effective training space. Brighton gardens can be on the smaller side, so we designed this gym to pack a lot into a tight footprint without feeling cramped.

The interior includes a rubberised floor, mirrored feature wall, and a ceiling mounted TRX anchor point. We fitted low profile LED panels for bright, even lighting and a heat recovery ventilation unit that keeps the air fresh without wasting energy.

Our clients cancelled their gym memberships the week the build was finished. They train every morning before work, and they told us the convenience has completely changed their fitness routine. The building sits beautifully in their garden and doesn’t dominate the space at all.

Garden Studio, Brighton

This 5m x 3m garden studio was built for a musician in Hanover who needed a soundproofed space for recording and practice. We used the Multi design as a starting point and added acoustic treatment to the walls, ceiling, and floor.

The studio includes a vocal booth partition, sound dampening panels throughout, and airtight seals on all windows and doors. We ran dedicated electrical circuits for the mixing desk and monitors, and the space is wired for fibre broadband.

Our client now records from home instead of hiring studio time in the city. The neighbours can’t hear a thing, and the building’s insulation does double duty as acoustic and thermal protection. It’s one of the more specialised builds we’ve done in Brighton, and we’re really proud of how it turned out.
